Let's Get to Work on Solving Your Business Problem
We’ve found that if you can articulate the situation, then we can use that as a launching pad to a creative, innovative path to problem solving. This simple questionnaire will help you frame the problem and capture your ideas for improvement.
Tell us your business problem
(Set aside technology and software for now)
We need to provide our client with an expense reporting application that is built on top of our credit card e-statement application.
How have you attempted to address the problem?
(E.g. processes changes, workarounds, band-aids such as spreadsheets, etc.)
Currently our credit card application only provides a ‘read-only’ view of the monthly statement. Client wants each card holder to be able to verify each charge, and they do so by calling our call center – resulting in large call volumes. Furthermore, client wants employees to create expense reports directly from our application – something we cannot do today
What is your current technology environment?
(OK, now let’s talk about your software packages, technology platforms and the like)
Our client uses SAP ERP system and we have our own proprietary credit card e-statement application – two very different systems.
Who are the right people to work with inside your organization?
(What departments and people should be involved if you want to achieve success?)
We’ll be successful if we get the VPs of Operations, IT, and Security to come to a common design.
If you could design a way to solve this, what would that look like?
(Think processes, technology, people and organization – both inside your company and among partners)
Ideally, we’d like to build a bridge application that would both provide a complete set of services and integrate with SAP on our client’s side and our banking application securely, in real-time.
